Brand New Setanta Whistles “Play Themselves!"
The brand new Setanta Whistles were officially launched at the Fingal Fleadh in early September by two of our foremost whistle players, John McSherry and Alan Doherty. They were astounded by the tone, responsiveness and tuning across all three octaves leading John to proclaim:
“They play themselves!”

Setanta Whistles have been designed and produced in Dublin, Ireland, by John O’Brien ( www.jobwhistles.com), marrying the latest in precision engineering with the personal handcrafted touch people have become accustomed to expect from top quality Irish brands. John has spent numerous years playing whistles and uilleann pipes professionally on the road with Riverdance, Celtic Woman and Celtic Thunder, to name but a few. His new range of Setanta whistles feature a beautifully warm clear tone in all octaves, excellent responsiveness and exceptionally accurate tuning.
